A broad research department supports a 30 ECTS thesis designed around scientific methods and a current research problem.
Admission criteria
- Relevant bachelor's with required academic coverage across theoretical Computer Science, practical Computer Science, computer engineering and mathematics.
- Applicants covering only three of the four areas may be invited to an admission interview.
- International applicants must submit a valid GRE or GATE result plus accepted English evidence.
- GRE/GATE and the four academic-content buckets make this a reach despite strong systems experience.
- The international English MSc is capacity-limited; do not confuse it with KIT's German-language Informatik MSc.
