Senin profilinle okuma

Bu program sende ne görüyor?

The profile has a coherent topical story but is below the normal academic/research strength for this pool. A serious open-source or measured systems project plus an academic recommender is essential to convert industry experience into evidence of graduate research readiness.

Admission criteria

  • Strong bachelor's-level CS preparation and quantitative coursework.
  • Statement, resume, transcripts and recommendation letters.
  • Fall-only cohort; meeting minima does not indicate competitive standing.
  • Very large and strong international applicant pool
  • No publication/research
  • High California first-year cash requirement

Sınavlar ve belgeler

  • GRE: optional. GRE was not required for Fall 2026; valid scores could still be submitted. Recheck the Fall 2027 cycle.
  • TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo per Graduate Admissions unless exempt.
  • UCSD graduate baseline commonly uses TOEFL iBT 85, IELTS 7.0 or Duolingo 120; the CSE admissions page controls the cycle-specific rule.

Watchouts

  • The BS/MS deadline shown elsewhere on the CSE site does not apply to external applicants.
  • Fall 2027 deadline was not announced at research time; set a November internal deadline.
  • Very large and strong international applicant pool
  • No publication/research
  • High California first-year cash requirement
  • MS students may find TA/RA roles after arrival, but there is no safe admission-time funding assumption.
